Bramble Foods is a thriving, family-run business with deep roots in food manufacturing and distribution. Founded in 2008 by brothers Nigel and Tony Foster, alongside industry experts Chris Neville and Ken Osborne, Bramble is the next chapter in a story that began in the 1970s – with a single van selling biscuits to independent retailers across Leicestershire.
Today, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading suppliers of fine ambient foods, serving the independent retail and gift market with a comprehensive, high-quality range. From artisan cakes and preserves to snacks, soft drinks, and confectionery, our goal is simple: to offer independent retailers a reliable one-stop-shop for standout food and drink.
Operating from multiple sites in Market Harborough, we manage our own:
- On-site bakery – where our Master Bakers craft traditional cakes, tray bakes and flapjacks in small batches using natural, high-quality ingredients.
- Preserving facility – home to our handmade jams, chutneys, curds, and savoury sauces, created from original recipes and packed with flavour.
- Warehousing & distribution centres – ensuring efficient, dependable service for every customer, big or small.
We’re proud to employ over 150 local people, many of whom have been with the Foster family since the early days. We also prioritise local and responsible sourcing, ensuring our products meet exacting standards for taste and sustainability.
As both a manufacturer and distributor, we stock our own Bramble range alongside a curated selection of well-known and artisan brands—from Lindt, Haribo and Monty Bojangles to Grandma Wild’s, Belvoir Farm, and Whitakers Chocolates.
