Our Master Bakers have been toiling away and have come up with something quite superb. Putting a new spin on the classic jam cake, we pour a generous swirl of our own jam onto the batter before we bake the cake. The result is a light, moist sponge with an intensely jammy surprise in every mouthful. Our January 2021 brochure features four magic combinations: Strawberry Jam and Madeira Sponge, Cherry Jam and Almond Flavoured Sponge, Lemon Curd and Zesty Lemon Sponge, Caramel Sauce and Chocolate Sponge.
